To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
3:15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
3:16 For se, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
3:17 But with wh was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
3:18 And to wh sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a prise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to ce short of it.
4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished fr the foundation of the world.
4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day fr all his works.
4:5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
4:6 Seeing therefore it remaih that se must enter therein, and they to wh it was first preached ente
