    4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the cing of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

    4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend fr heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

    4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

    4:18 Wherefore cfort one another with these words.

    5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

    5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so ceth as a thief in the night.

    5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction ceth upon them, as travail upon a wan with child; and they shall not escape.

    5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

    5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

    5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

    5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

    5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the ho
